Fun in the Sun

Its been awhile and I wanted to update on the things we have seen and the places we have been. The sun decided to come out and everything is green and beautiful. Chris and I every week pick a place on the map and go to that place on Saturday. So being here for three months almost four we have seen our fair share. April 10th we decided to go to the Baltic sea. I couldnt believe how tropical Germany could look minus the palm trees of course. It was really windy that day but we are planning on going back and playing in the water and laying on the beach. Heres the Baltic sea....

April 17th we picked the city of Hamburg, which is a beautiful city with many rivers that flow throughout it. We looked up on the internet for the number one thing to do in Hamburg and other then clubs and discos came up a museum called Minitaure Wonderland. So we decided to try it out. What it is, is a huge train set, set to scale. They have taken countries and cities and re-did them in little size so that the train could run through them. Thousands of trains going through Switzerland, Las Vegas, Belgium, Germany and tons more they are still creating new worlds and it should be done aroun 2014. This place was amazing we spent hours looking at all the little details of the people and cars it was so much fun. Here are pics of the museum and Hamburg....

We have had a lot of fun and still trying to see as much as we can before we get home. Love you all lots until next time.

1st Married Easter

This Easter didnt feel like much of a holiday, but I was grateful for confrence for the talks and giving Easter that amazing spirit. We had a lot of fun we didnt do eggs or hidden baskets this year instead we went to The Netherlands. I know I said Rome but we are going later when we can spend more time and hopefully the pope isnt in trouble anymore, its kind of crazy right there right now. Holland was amazing we went to De Hoge Veluwe national park. Where there is no cars only bikes. This park is known for their famous white bikes that you ride all through the park. There are many trails to take and sites to see. Inside of the park is an underground museum which was amazing, and the Hunting Lodge which to me looked more like a castle. The day was beautiful we had a picnic and just rode all day long, the day afterwards though we were pretty sore but it was worth it. Here are some pics of the parks.
Just one of the many places to get a bike.

Just some of the beautiful trails

The Underground Museum

The Hunting Lodge and Scenery

The weekend didnt end there we also went to Eltz castle, which is a castle that has been passed down form Eltz family to Eltz family for generations. There is still a family living there today. We went with the tour inside through a section of the castle. We werent allowed to take pictures of the indside but here are some pictures of the outside

This was an Easter to remember, and Im so grateful for my wonderful husband and the wonderful words of the prophet and apostles. I hope everyone had a great Easter. Until next time..

To my Husband or Husbands in General

Being here in Germany has really opened my eyes to a lot of things. Even being thousands of miles away we still seem to get the Idaho news/gossip. Ranging from divorces, deaths, sports news, disasters, births good or bad we seem to be kept caught up. And with all the news from Rexbug to the news on tv me and my husband have come closer together working on progressing in our trials and making it to the end. I think husbands in general have a special spirit to them, I mean us woman arent the easiest to live with sometimes. With going through bad hair days, pms, kid trouble, friend/family trouble a husband somehow knows how to make everything better. A warm embrace, kiss, or even the famous flowers that smile somehow gets put back on our faces and the hope of everything comes back. I have an amazing husband which im sure each of you will say yours is the best. Which all that really matters is that in your own eyes each of our husbands to us is the best! I dont know about you but I love the late nights of just laughing, laughing at the little things that really arent that funny but at that moment seem to be hillarious. The times were he makes a mistake and in the back of your mind your saying I told you so. I love watching my husband interact with children. I love the simple gesture when he opens my door for me. The little things add up and Chris is amazing at trying his best to do the big and the little things. I love my husband and im so grateful for him. If you read this give your husband a hug and tell him how much you love him, he is trying his hardest to make you the happiest girl in the world. Until next time....
